Circuit Breakers

Circuit Breakers are electromechanical protective devices designed to automatically interrupt an electrical circuit when abnormal conditions occur. They provide controlled disconnection to help limit damage to equipment and wiring and to support safe system operation.

In electromechanical product groupings, circuit breakers are commonly categorized by their operating principle and intended protection function. Many designs also allow manual switching and reset after a trip event.
