MAX7000A devices are EEPROM-based programmable logic devices (PLDs) built on the second-generation MAX architecture. They operate at 3.3 V and provide 600 to 10,000 usable gates, in-system programmability via JTAG, and high performance with pin-to-pin delays as fast as 4.5 ns and counter frequencies up to 227.3 MHz. The devices support MultiVolt I/O interface (5.0-V, 3.3-V, and 2.5-V logic levels), hot-socketing, and programmable power-saving mode for up to 50% power reduction. They are available in a wide range of packages including PLCC, TQFP, BGA, and FineLine BGA.
