Precision instrumentation amplifier with gain set by single external resistor (1 to 10,000). Features low offset voltage (100 µV max), low drift (2 µV/°C max), high common-mode rejection (115 dB min), and high bandwidth (200 kHz typ at G=1000). Includes input protection network allowing inputs to be taken 60V beyond supply rails. Laser trimming reduces input offset voltage to under 100 µV. Output offset below 4 mV, gain accuracy better than 0.5% at G=1000. Bandwidth remains high over wide gain range, slew rate over 4 V/µs. Reference pin allows output referencing to external DC level for offset correction or level shifting. Available in 8-lead PDIP, CERDIP, 16-lead SOIC, and die form.
