MAX3085CSA+T [Analog Devices]

The MAX3080–MAX3089 are high-speed transceivers for RS-485/RS-422 communication, featuring fail-safe circuitry that guarantees a logic-high receiver output when inputs are open or shorted. They offer various data rates: 115kbps (MAX3080-MAX3082), 500kbps (MAX3083-MAX3085), and 10Mbps (MAX3086-MAX3088), with the MAX3089 having selectable slew rates. These devices have low quiescent current (375µA typical), 1/8-unit-load receiver input impedance allowing up to 256 transceivers on the bus, and support half-duplex or full-duplex operation. They include independently programmable receiver and transmitter output enable pins.
