MAX3098EACSE+ [Analog Devices]

The MAX3097E/MAX3098E are triple RS-422/RS-485 receivers with fault-detection circuitry. They detect open-circuit, short-circuit, low differential voltage, and common-mode range violations. The devices operate from a single +3V to +5.5V supply, with an extended common-mode range of -10V to +13.2V. They support data rates up to 32Mbps and include capacitor-programmable delay for fault indication. The receivers have independent fault outputs and are designed for motor-shaft encoders and other applications requiring high-speed, reliable communication.
