The 1625 (40km) and 1626 (80km) Series are transmitter optical subassemblies (TOSA) that integrate a high-speed electroabsorptive (EML) laser, a monitor photodiode, and a micro-TEC in a small form-factor metallized ceramic package. Designed for use in XFP transceivers and other optical modules, they support data rates up to 11.3 Gb/s and are suitable for applications up to 80km. Key features include wavelength selectability to ITU-T standards covering C-band and C+ band, suitability for 100GHz channel spacing in DWDM systems, very low TEC power consumption, and various receptacle options. The devices offer excellent wavelength stability and low hazard rates for long-term operation.
