    The AFBR-5100Z family of transceivers are designed for FDDI, 100 Mbps ATM, and Fast Ethernet applications at 100 Mbps/125 MBd rate. They are compliant with FDDI PMD, LCF-PMD, ATM 100 Mbps Physical Layer, and IEEE 802.3u 100 Base-FX standards. The transceivers use 1300 nm InGaAsP LEDs for transmitter and InGaAs PIN photodiodes for receiver, with custom silicon ICs for signal processing. They feature a multisourced 1x9 package with duplex SC or duplex ST receptacle, internal shields for EMI reduction, and are compatible with wave solder and aqueous wash processes. RoHS compliant.
