AFBR-5103TZ [Broadcom]

The AFBR-5100Z family transceivers are supplied in the industry standard 1x9 SIP package style with duplex SC or duplex ST connector interface. They support 2000 meter multimode fiber backbone links and are compliant with FDDI PMD, ATM 100 Mbps, and Fast Ethernet 100 Base-FX standards. The transmitter uses 1300 nm Surface Emitting InGaAsP LEDs driven by a custom silicon IC, while the receiver utilizes InGaAs PIN photodiodes coupled with custom preamplifier and quantizer ICs. The package includes internal shields for EMI control and features a low-profile design compatible with duplex SC connectors.
