The HCPL-7520 is an isolated linear current sensing IC designed for low-power electronic motor drives. It senses motor current through an external resistor and provides a proportional output voltage across an optical isolation barrier. It features high common-mode rejection (15 kV/µs), sigma-delta A/D converter technology for accuracy and stability over time and temperature, and is available in compact 8-pin DIP or surface mount packages. Suitable for motor control, power supply isolation, and general analog signal isolation applications.
