CS8900A-CQZ [Cirrus Logic]

The CS8900A is a true single-chip, full-duplex Ethernet solution incorporating all analog and digital circuitry needed for a complete Ethernet circuit. It features a direct ISA-bus interface, 802.3 MAC engine, integrated 4-Kbyte buffer memory, serial EEPROM interface, and complete analog front end with both 10BASE-T and AUI. The highly-integrated design eliminates the need for costly external components and supports Memory space, I/O space, or external DMA controllers for maximum design flexibility.
