This is an I2C-Bus real-time clock module featuring a built-in frequency-adjusted 32.768 kHz crystal unit. It offers low backup current (300 nA Typ. / 3 V), auto power switching function, backup battery charge control function, reset functions with a delay, interrupt output (wake up every minute or every second), alarm interruption (day, date, hour, minute, second), auto repeat wakeup timer interruption, and self-monitoring interruption (crystal oscillation stop, VBAT low, VDD low). It also provides a clock output function (output frequency selectable from 32.768 kHz, 1024 Hz, 1 Hz) and a wakeup timer function (selectable from 244 µs to 7.5 years).
