Intel Arria 10 devices are built on TSMC's 20 nm process technology, offering 60% higher performance than previous mid-range FPGAs and 15% higher than the fastest previous high-end FPGAs. They feature up to 40% lower power consumption compared to previous mid-range FPGAs and up to 60% lower power compared to previous high-end FPGAs. Key features include an enhanced 8-input adaptive logic module (ALM), embedded memory (M20K with ECC and MLAB), variable-precision DSP blocks, fractional synthesis PLLs, hard IP blocks (PCIe Gen3, memory controllers), and low-power serial transceivers (up to 25.8 Gbps). The SoC variant (Arria 10 SX) integrates a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor with the FPGA fabric.
