Intel Arria 10 devices are built on TSMC's 20 nm process technology and deliver up to 60% higher performance and 40% lower power compared to previous generation mid-range FPGAs. They feature enhanced 8-input adaptive logic modules (ALM), up to 65.6 Mb of embedded memory, variable-precision DSP blocks, fractional synthesis PLLs, hard PCI Express Gen3 IP, and hard memory controllers up to 2,400 Mbps. The family includes variants with 17.4 Gbps and 25.8 Gbps transceivers, and the SoC variant integrates a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor with HPS. Key advantages include high-bandwidth transceivers, improved logic integration, second generation HPS with ARM processor, and advanced power savings.
