Cyclone® devices are cost-effective FPGAs based on a 1.5-V, 0.13-μm, all-layer copper SRAM process. They offer densities from 2,910 to 20,060 LEs and up to 294,912 RAM bits. Features include phase-locked loops (PLLs) for clocking, a dedicated double data rate (DDR) interface, support for various I/O standards (LVDS up to 640 Mbps, PCI), and configuration through low-cost serial configuration devices. They support external memory such as DDR SDRAM, FCRAM, and SDR SDRAM, and are compatible with multiple IP cores including Altera MegaCore and AMPP functions.
