ACEX 1K devices combine LUT-based logic and embedded array blocks (EABs) for optimized performance in data-path, register-intensive, mathematical, and DSP designs. EABs implement RAM, ROM, dual-port RAM, or FIFO functions. The architecture uses reconfigurable CMOS SRAM elements, providing high density (10,000 to 100,000 typical gates) and up to 49,152 RAM bits. System-level features include MultiVolt I/O (2.5V, 3.3V, 5.0V compatibility), low power consumption, bidirectional I/O performance up to 250 MHz, and PCI compliance. Devices support in-circuit reconfigurability (ICR) via JTAG or configuration devices, ClockLock/ClockBoost options for reduced clock delay, and are suitable for complex logic and memory functions in communications applications.
