They operate from a single 3.0V to 5.5V power supply using an integrated charge pump requiring only 0.1µF capacitors. The devices deliver true RS-232 performance with data rates up to 235kbps. Enhanced ESD protection exceeds ±15kV for Human Body Model and IEC61000-4-2 Air Discharge. The SP3222E features a 1µA shutdown mode that disables drivers and charge pumps while keeping receivers active.
