The SPX1587 is a low dropout voltage regulator with very low quiescent current and a dropout voltage of 1.1V at 3A full load. It is available in adjustable or fixed output voltages (1.5V, 2.5V, 3.3V, 5.0V) and comes in TO-220, TO-252, and TO-263 packages. The device features guaranteed 3A output current, low line and load regulation (0.1%), and is stable with a 10μF ceramic capacitor. It includes over current and thermal protection and is RoHS compliant.
