The 1N53 Series is a complete range of 5 Watt Zener voltage regulators with a wide voltage range from 3.3 V to 200 V. They feature silicon-oxide passivated junctions for superior performance and are housed in an axial lead, transfer-molded plastic package (Case 017AA) that provides protection in all common environmental conditions. Key characteristics include an ESD rating of Class 3 (>16 kV) per Human Body Model, a surge rating of up to 180 W @ 8.3 ms, and guaranteed maximum limits on up to six electrical parameters. The devices offer readily solderable, corrosion-resistant leads and are available in Pb-Free packages.
