HV9982 is a three-channel, closed-loop, peak-current mode PWM controller for driving constant output current in RGB LEDs or multiple white LED channels. It features a 40V linear regulator providing 8.0V supply, external clock-controlled switching frequencies (1/12th of external clock, 120° out-of-phase), and individual linear/PWM dimming per channel. Includes programmable slope compensation, +0.2A/-0.4A gate drives, output short-circuit/over-voltage protection, hiccup-mode protection with auto-recovery, and disconnect FET drivers for high PWM dimming ratios and fault protection.
