The LP2951 is a micropower voltage regulator with very low dropout voltage and quiescent current, making it ideal for battery-powered systems. It features programmable output voltage (1.24V to 29V), an error flag for output dropout warning, logic-controlled shutdown, and can be used as a regulator or reference. It requires only 1μF for stability, has tight initial tolerance (0.5% typical), very low temperature coefficient, and excellent load/line regulation (0.05% typical). Available in -02 and -03 versions with guaranteed performance from -40°C to +125°C junction temperature.
