They provide protection against secondary lightning effects per IEC61000-4-5, voltage pulses from inductive switching, and induced RFI. They also offer ESD and EFT protection per IEC61000-4-2 and IEC61000-4-4. Features include 100% surge testing, enhanced reliability screening per MIL-PRF-19500, and moisture classification level 1.
