It switches between 5V main and auxiliary supplies with current-limit adjustment based on ACPI state (500mA in S0, 100mA in S3). Features include make-before-break switching, thermal isolation between channels, fault status outputs, undervoltage lockout, and thermal shutdown protection. The MIC2072 variant adds latched output off upon overcurrent detection for circuit breaker functionality.
