The MIC2125/6 are constant-frequency synchronous buck controllers with adaptive ON-time control architecture. They feature Hyper Speed Control architecture enabling high delta V operation (V_IN=28V, V_OUT=0.6V) and are Any Capacitor™ stable. The devices operate from 4.5V to 28V input and provide adjustable output voltage from 0.6V to 24V with ±1% accuracy. Programmable switching frequency ranges from 200 kHz to 750 kHz. The MIC2125 includes HyperLight Load® for high efficiency under light loads, while the MIC2126 uses Hyper Speed Control® for medium to heavy loads. Both feature enable input, power good output, built-in 5V regulator, programmable current limit with hiccup mode short-circuit protection, 7 ms internal soft-start, internal compensation, thermal shutdown, and support for start-up into prebiased outputs. Available in 16-pin 3 mm × 3 mm QFN package with -40°C to +125°C junction temperature range.
