    The MIC2186 is a high efficiency boost PWM control IC featuring a wide input voltage range (2.9V to 14V), a powerful 1.6Ω output driver for high-current applications, and configurable oscillator frequencies (100kHz/200kHz/400kHz). It includes programmable undervoltage lockout, a low-current shutdown mode (0.5µA), and a selectable SKIP mode for high efficiency at light loads. The device uses current-mode PWM control with cycle-by-cycle current limiting, frequency foldback protection, and a precision 1.245V reference. Available in 16-pin SOIC and QSOP packages, it operates from -40°C to +125°C junction temperature.
