    The MIC2199 is a BiCMOS, switched-mode, synchronous step-down (buck) converter controller. It operates from a wide 4.5V to 32V input and can be programmed for output voltages from 0.8V to 6V. Current-mode control is used for superior transient line and load regulation. The 300kHz switching frequency allows small external components. An all N-Channel synchronous architecture and powerful output drivers enable up to 20A output current. Features include cycle-by-cycle current limiting, frequency foldback overcurrent protection, adjustable undervoltage lockout, and logic-controlled micropower shutdown. The device is optimized for high-efficiency, high-performance DC-DC conversion.
