It features very low thermal resistance, guard-ring-die construction for transient protection, and a full metallic bottom that eliminates solder flux entrapment. The package includes an integral locking bottom metal tab for efficient heat dissipation to the heatsink. Its innovative design is compatible with automatic insertion equipment and features a low profile (max 1mm height), making it ideal for high-frequency SMD applications.
