The package features a full metallic bottom to eliminate solder flux entrapment and a unique locking tab for efficient heat dissipation, enabling very low thermal resistance junction-to-case. Designed for high-frequency surface mount applications, these devices provide previously unavailable power capabilities in a compact form factor. They are compatible with automatic insertion equipment and available in RoHS compliant versions.
