    Microsemi's Powermite UPT series transient voltage suppressors offer high surge capability with oxide-passivated chips and high-temperature solder bonds. They feature both unidirectional and bidirectional configurations, low clamping times (less than 100 ps for unidirectional, 5 ns for bidirectional), and are available in a small footprint Powermite package with standoff voltages from 5V to 48V. The package includes a fully metallic bottom side to eliminate solder flux entrapment and a locking tab as an integral heat sink. They are 100% surge current tested, moisture classified as Level 1, and RoHS compliant versions are available.
