The Intel Advanced+ Boot Block Flash Memory (C3) family provides high-performance asynchronous reads with a 16-bit data bus, featuring individually-erasable memory blocks optimized for code and data storage. It includes eight 4Kword parameter blocks in the boot block (top or bottom) and 32Kword main blocks. Key features include Flexible Smart Voltage Technology (2.7V–3.6V read/program/erase, 12V for fast production programming), 128-bit protection register with unique device identifier and user-programmable OTP cells, extended cycling capability (minimum 100,000 block erase cycles), and low power consumption with automatic power savings. The device supports top or bottom boot storage, streaming data, Intel Flash Data Integrator software, Intel Basic Command Set, Common Flash Interface (CFI), and fast program/erase suspend capability. It is available in standard surface mount packaging including 48-ball µBGA/VFBGA, 64-ball EasyBGA, and 48-lead TSOP packages.
