The 33989 is a system basis chip (SBC) that integrates multiple functions for automotive microcontrollers, including two voltage regulators (VDD1 and V2), four high-voltage wake-up inputs, a 1.0 MBaud CAN physical interface, an SPI interface for MCU communication, VSUP monitoring and fault detection, reset control, and watchdog timer features. It provides power management and communication capabilities for automotive Engine Control Units (ECUs).
