    The MC14046B is a phase-locked loop circuit featuring two phase comparators (an exclusive OR gate and a leading-edge sensing logic), a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO), a source-follower output, and a zener diode. It supports direct or indirect coupling for input signals, includes an inhibit input to disable the VCO for low standby power, and provides buffered outputs compatible with low-power TTL. The device operates over a 3.0 to 18 V supply range and is pin-for-pin compatible with the CD4046B.
