NCP1377BDR2 [Onsemi]

The NCP1377 and NCP1377B are PWM current-mode controllers designed for free-running quasi-resonant operation. They combine a true current mode modulator and a demagnetization detector to ensure full borderline/critical conduction mode in any load/line conditions with minimum drain voltage switching. The controllers feature skip cycle capability for burst mode operation at low peak currents, eliminating audible noise. NCP1377 includes an internal 8.0 μs timer to limit frequency below 100 kHz, while NCP1377B has a 3.0 μs timer for operation up to 300 kHz. They provide latched overvoltage protection, auto-recovery short-circuit protection, external latch triggering, internal soft-start, temperature shutdown, leading edge blanking, and high peak current source/sink capability. These devices are Pb-free, halogen-free, and RoHS compliant.
