The NCP3065 is a monolithic power switching regulator optimized for LED Driver applications. It features a low feedback voltage of 235 mV for regulating LED string current, wide input voltage range (3.0 V to 40 V), and configurable in step-down (buck), step-up (boost), and inverting topologies with minimal external components. Key capabilities include an integrated 1.5 A switch, cycle-by-cycle current limit, no control loop compensation required, adjustable frequency up to 250 kHz, operation with ceramic output capacitors or no output capacitance, analog/digital PWM dimming, and internal thermal shutdown with hysteresis.
