The UC3844, UC3845 series are high performance fixed frequency current mode controllers specifically designed for Off-Line and DC-to-DC converter applications. They offer a cost-effective solution with minimal external components, featuring an oscillator, temperature compensated reference, high gain error amplifier, current sensing comparator, and high current totem pole output for driving power MOSFETs. Protective features include input and reference undervoltage lockouts with hysteresis, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, latch for single pulse metering, and flip-flop for programmable output deadtimes.
