It replaces linear and capacitor-fed power supplies with higher efficiency, lower component count, and energy savings. Key features include frequency jittering for EMI reduction, thermal shutdown, current limit protection, and auto-restart (LNK304-306). Supports buck, buck-boost, and flyback topologies with universal input voltage (85-265 VAC). EcoSmart technology ensures ultra-low no-load consumption (50/80 mW in buck topology).
