LinkSwitch-TN2 integrates a high-voltage power MOSFET switch with a power supply controller in one device. It supports buck, buck-boost, and flyback topologies with features including On/Off control for light-load efficiency, frequency jittering to reduce EMI, comprehensive system-level protection (auto-restart for faults, OVP, OVL, OTP), and extended creepage between DRAIN pin and other pins. Available in PDIP-8C, SMD-8C, and SO-8C packages, it offers very low standby current (<100 μA) and no-load consumption (<30 mW with external bias), meeting global energy efficiency regulations.
