LYT3315D [Power Integrations]

The LYTSwitch-3 family combines a high-voltage power MOSFET with a discontinuous mode, variable frequency variable on-time controller for single-stage power factor corrected constant current LED applications. It features integrated TRIAC dimmer detection, comprehensive protection including input/output overvoltage, output short-circuit, open-loop protection, and advanced thermal management with thermal foldback. The IC eliminates the need for electrolytic bulk capacitors and optoisolators, increasing lifetime. It supports multiple topologies including buck, buck-boost, tapped buck-boost, boost, isolated and non-isolated flyback with up to 20W output power.
