TinySwitch-II combines a high-voltage power MOSFET switch with a power supply controller in one device. It uses simple ON/OFF control to regulate the output voltage, eliminating the need for a bias winding and associated circuitry. The device features fully integrated auto-restart for fault protection, programmable line undervoltage detection, frequency jittering to reduce EMI, and 132 kHz operation for smaller transformer size. It offers very tight tolerances, negligible temperature variation, and the lowest component count solution. EcoSmart technology enables extremely low no-load consumption (<50 mW with bias winding, <250 mW without).
