TinySwitch-4 Family combines a high-voltage power MOSFET switch with a power supply controller in one device. It uses simple ON/OFF control to regulate output voltage without loop compensation. Features include 725 V rated MOSFET, line compensated overload power, selectable current limit via BP/M capacitor, tight I2f parameter tolerance, ON-time extension, self-biased operation, frequency jittering for EMI reduction, and enhanced safety with accurate thermal shutdown and auto-restart. EcoSmart technology enables ultra-low no-load consumption (<30 mW with bias winding) and constant efficiency down to light loads.
