The TOP264-271 integrates a 725 V power MOSFET, high-voltage switched current source, multi-mode PWM control, oscillator, thermal shutdown circuit, fault protection, and control circuitry into a monolithic device. It features EcoSmart energy efficiency with no-load consumption below 100 mW at 265 VAC and up to 750 mW standby output power. The device offers design flexibility through multi-mode PWM control (132 kHz/66 kHz options), programmable current limit, line feed-forward, frequency jittering for EMI reduction, and integrated soft-start. Protection features include auto-restart, output short-circuit, over-current, overload, overvoltage protection, hysteretic/latching shutdown, fast AC reset, line UV/OV detection, and thermal shutdown. Package options (eDIP-12, eSIP-7C, eSOP-12) support thermal management for power capabilities from 43 W to 177 W.
