CS82C37A [INTERSIL]

The 82C37A is an enhanced CMOS DMA controller offering increased functionality, improved performance, and reduced power consumption compared to NMOS designs. It features four independent maskable channels with autoinitialization capability, supports high-speed data transfers up to 6.25 MBytes/sec, and enables memory-to-memory transfers. The device is fully static, allowing gated clock operation for further power reduction. It is compatible with industry-standard microprocessors and provides flexible programmability for various DMA services including single, block, demand, and cascade transfer modes.
