ISL6565BCBZ [INTERSIL]

The ISL6565A and ISL6565B are multi-phase PWM controllers designed for microprocessor core voltage regulation. They drive up to three synchronous-rectified buck channels in parallel using interleaved timing to multiply channel ripple frequency and reduce input/output ripple currents. The ISL6565A uses rDS(ON) current sensing while the ISL6565B uses DCR current sensing for adaptive voltage positioning (droop), channel current balancing, and overcurrent protection. Features include precision core voltage regulation with differential remote voltage sensing (±0.5% system accuracy), adjustable reference-voltage offset, programmable temperature compensation, accurate load-line programming, and channel-current balancing. Supports 12V or 5V bias input, Dynamic VID technology with 6-bit input (0.8375V to 1.600V in 12.5mV steps), threshold enable for precision sequencing, overcurrent/overvoltage protection, digital soft-start, and operation frequency up to 1.5MHz per phase. Available in QFN, SOIC, and TSSOP packages with RoHS compliance.
