RT8026GF [RICHTEK]

The RT8026 is a high-efficiency PWM step-down DC/DC converter capable of delivering 1A output current over a wide input voltage range from 2.7V to 5.5V. It features internal synchronous rectifier with low R_DS(ON) to reduce conduction loss, eliminating the need for external Schottky diode. The device operates in two modes: PWM/Low-Dropout autoswitch and shutdown modes. It enters Low-Dropout mode when normal PWM cannot provide regulated output voltage, and shutdown mode consumes less than 0.1μA when EN pin is pulled low. The fixed 1.5MHz operating frequency allows use of small external components. Other features include soft start, 2% accuracy internal reference voltage, over temperature protection, and over current protection. The small MSOP-10 package provides compact PCB area application.
