The LC5200 series is a power IC for non-isolated LED driver applications, featuring buck topology and high input voltage capability up to 250V or 450V. It uses constant current mode to drive LEDs with fixed off-time PWM control, externally adjustable by components. Output current is adjustable via the REF pin. The IC supports external PWM dimming and includes protection features: undervoltage lockout (UVLO), overcurrent protection (OCP) with latched shutdown, and thermal shutdown (TSD) with auto restart. Available in DIP8 (with pin 7 removed for isolation) and SOP8 packages.
