The M74HC373 is a high-speed CMOS octal D-type latch with 3-state outputs, fabricated with sub-micron silicon gate C2MOS technology. It features an 8-bit D-type latch controlled by latch enable (LE) and output enable (OE) inputs. The outputs follow the data input when LE is high and are latched when LE goes low. OE controls the output state: when low, outputs are in normal logic state; when high, outputs are high impedance. The device offers wide operating voltage range (2V to 6V), high noise immunity, symmetrical output impedance, and balanced propagation delays. Inputs are protected against static discharge and transient excess voltage.
