ADC0820CCWM [Texas Instruments]

The ADC0820-N is an 8-bit high-speed CMOS A/D converter with built-in track-and-hold function. It uses a half-flash conversion technique with 32 comparators and dual 4-bit ADCs for 1.5 µs conversion time and 75 mW power dissipation. The device eliminates need for external sample-and-hold for signals <100mV/µs. It interfaces directly with microprocessors as a memory location or I/O port without external logic. Features include single 5V supply operation, 0V-5V analog input range, no zero/full-scale adjustment, latched TRI-STATE outputs, overflow output for cascading, and compatibility with MOS/T2L voltage levels.
