The CDC5806 is a high-performance clock generator that uses three phase-locked loops (PLLs) to generate multiple output frequencies from a 54-MHz input clock. It provides video, audio, CPU, ASIC, USB, and memory card clocks with low jitter. The device operates from a single 3.3-V supply and is characterized for industrial temperature range from -40°C to 85°C. On-chip loop filters eliminate the need for external components. It features low peak-to-peak period jitter (150ps max) and includes power-down logic for PLLs when no valid input clock is detected.
