The CDC930 is a differential clock synthesizer/driver that generates HCLK/HCLK, 3VMREF/3VMREF, PCI, 3V66, 3V48, REF system clock signals to support computer systems with Pentium 4 microprocessors and Direct Rambus memory subsystems. It uses a 14.318-MHz crystal input and two phase-locked loops (PLLs) to generate host and 48-MHz clock frequencies. The device features low-skew/low-jitter outputs, 3-state capability controlled by SEL133, SelA, and SelB inputs, spread spectrum clocking (0.6% downspread) for EMI reduction, and operates from a single 3.3-V supply with power-down mode consuming <30 mA.
