The Direct Rambus clock generator (DRCG) provides necessary clock signals for Direct Rambus memory subsystems. It supports clock multiplication and phase alignment to enable synchronous communication between Rambus channel and ASIC clock domains. Designed for desktop, workstation, server, and mobile PC motherboards, it features three power operating modes, operates from single 3.3-V supply, and is packaged in Shrink Small-Outline Package (DBQ). Supports frequency multipliers 4, 6, 8, 16/3 with no external PLL components, independent channel clocking, and spread spectrum clocking tracking to reduce EMI.
