The CDCR61A is a Direct Rambus Clock Generator (DRCG-Lite) that uses PLL technology for clock multiplication. It provides one differential high-speed Rambus channel output pair (CLK/CLKB) and a single-ended LVCMOS output (LCLK) at half the crystal frequency. The device operates at 400 MHz (with 300 MHz option) for Direct Rambus memory systems achieving 800 Mbps data transfer. It requires an external 18.75-MHz series-resonant crystal and operates from dual power supplies (3.3V and 1.8V) with typical power dissipation of 180 mW at 400 MHz.
